With three years remaining in the current mandate, this by-election is a critical opportunity to ensure the region has a representative at the government table who can get things done. Hannah is ready to hit the ground running and deliver for her community from day one.
Her top priorities include improving access to primary health care, ensuring our children have the resources and support they need to succeed in school, recognizing and valuing the vital role of teachers, and addressing the rising cost of living so families and seniors can thrive.
She is committed to working closely with the three municipalities in the riding and with Metepenagiag First Nation to advance meaningful projects that will strengthen the rural communities within Miramichi West for generations to come.
In addition to her 20+ years of public service experience, Hannah has worked at the Atlantic Salmon Museum and Ledges Inn, two of the region’s well-known local institutions. She also served on the Board of Directors for the Doaktown Public Library, where she helped secure funding for major renovations that improved services for families and seniors in the area
She has played the bagpipes for over 35 years as a proud member of the Society of Saint Andrew Pipe Band, performing at international festivals and competitions, as well as local community events, ceremonies, and celebrations across the riding and region.
