Hanwell-New Maryland Nominating Convention

The Hanwell-New Maryland Liberal Association will be holding their candidate nominating convention on July 31st, 2024 at 7:00pm at the Hanwell Community Centre, 5 Nature Park Drive, Hanwell, NB.

The deadline for candidates to submit their nomination papers to the NBLA was July 20th, 2024 at 4:30 pm.  The deadline has now passed, there will be three people on the ballot:

Kevin Dignam, Clint Kingsbury and Cindy Miles.

All members in good standing of the New Brunswick Liberal Association living in the riding of Hanwell-New Maryland as of July 27th, 2024 at 4:30pm will be eligible to vote at this in-person convention. You must be present to vote, mail in and proxy voting is not permitted.

Early voting will be available from 5:30pm-7:00pm, the convention will be called to order at 7:00pm and voting will continue following the speeches until such time everyone has had the opportunity to vote. There will be one ranked ballot for voting, voters will select their 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice.  If you are voting after the speeches, you must register and receive your voting credentials by 7:oopm.
