Growing up in a small coastal community I am very connected with the land and water and the beautiful smell of the salty air. I have lived and worked in the region for twenty years, but my memories extend back to my childhood days from visiting family at their home in St. Stephen and cottage in Oak Bay. 

My education has been science-based, completing a research-based Bachelor of Science in Agriculture followed by a Master of Science degree where I conducted my work at the St. Andrews Biological Station over 20 years ago. Working in this discipline fosters a mindset of being open-minded, transparent, and a willingness to communicate and work with others in a team-based approach.

My employment history extends back 30 years in project management and has been one that has been muti disciplined, from working in the agriculture, fisheries, aquaculture and environmental sectors, and for the last 16 years with the provincial Department of Environment and Local Government. My love for this province and region and its people is genuine, I hope to make a positive difference in the daily lives for the residents of Saint Croix.
