Social

A dedicated woman and long-time volunteer on a number of committees, Lyne Chantal worked in the public school system for 20 years as a resource teacher, school principal and pedagogical officer before earning her doctorate in education in 2014. She has been a professor of administration at the Université de Moncton since 2017, and lives in the new riding of Champdoré-Irishtown.

Lyne Chantal places great importance on her family and the values that have been passed on to her. She is the proud mother of two children and has one grandchild.

She is known for her community involvement, providing leadership from an inclusive perspective for important social causes such as social justice, equity, the establishment of environments of respect and consent, and the development of initiatives to counter family and domestic violence.

As an entrepreneur, Lyne Chantal owns a social enterprise specializing in fashion which donates a percentage of net profits to counter domestic and family violence, and is co-owner of a non-profit organization offering training on consent and healthy relationships in all environments. For Lyne Chantal, education symbolizes the key to a society that is free, respectful and committed to its development.
