Alyson Townsend
Rothesay
Alyson is a proven leader with two decades of senior-level corporate experience. After graduating from law school, she practiced litigation and family law with the Atlantic law firm of Stewart McKelvey. In 1994 she left private practice to co-found a national buying group for communications companies throughout Canada. With a progressive, enthusiastic team, she grew this business to include conducting regulatory affairs and lobby efforts on behalf of over 100 companies.
In 2016, she left the communications industry to co-found another company, Resonance Inc., a company that focuses on Alyson’s passion – creating and maintaining productive and healthy workplaces. Resonance offers services from general Board governance, strategic and organizational planning, to all aspects of employment law including workplace investigations, conflict resolution and restoration as well as management and employee training. Recently, Alyson left Resonance which is now under the very capable leadership of Trisha Perry.
