Serge Rousselle has been named co-chair of the New Brunswick Liberal Party’s re-election campaign for the upcoming Provincial election on September 24, 2018. The announcement was made in Tracadie by Premier Brian Gallant, leader of the New Brunswick Liberal Party.

“We are proud that Serge Rousselle has agreed to play a key role in our re-election campaign,” said Gallant.  “Through his hard work over the last four years has helped our government grow the economy, invest strategically in education and improve health care delivery.”

Serge Rousselle has been the Liberal MLA in the riding of Tracadie-Sheila since 2014.  During the current mandate, he has served as Attorney General, Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development, Minister of Environment and Local Government and Minister responsible for Service New Brunswick. Last March, Serge Rousselle announced that he would not seek a second mandate as MLA.

“The upcoming election campaign is so important, which is why I’m happy to accept the Co-Chair role,” said Rousselle.  “So much has been accomplished by this Liberal government to create jobs, strengthen education and protect health care.  Together, we will continue to move New Brunswick forward”.
