The Gallant Government has been moving our province forward with a plan based on fairness and opportunity for all New Brunswickers. This includes turning around an economy in decline, helping to create thousands of jobs, and raising the minimum wage on four separate occasions.

The Gallant Government has increased investments in infrastructure by creating the six-year, $900-million Strategic Infrastructure Initiative in 2014, allowing for roads to be restored, for schools and hospitals to be upgraded, and for new schools to be built. We’re extending that initiative by $150 million over two years, through 2022.

Our plan is working. Blaine Higgs said it wouldn’t work, but he was wrong. The plan is creating jobs, it is building safer roads, it is building better schools and better hospitals, and it is doing all of this without impacting our efforts to be financially responsible.
