We have taken several steps toward achieving our goal of making our province a fairer and more equal home for New Brunswick women and girls

• We extended pay equity throughout the provincial government including to all Crown corporations
• We eliminated barriers to access reproductive health
• We introduced paid leave for victims of domestic, sexual and intimate partner violence
• We passed the Intimate Partner Violence Intervention Act to better protect victims of domestic violence
• We brought gender-parity to our provincial court and to the membership of our agencies, boards and commissions
