As a seasoned senior executive, he has over 30 years of experience in primary, secondary and tertiary health care, as well as in the public and private sectors.

He’s experienced in refining and implementing new health care strategies.

Richard has a high level of people skills and a strong ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships with the people, enabling him to collaborate on a variety of projects.

Richard has over 25 years of progressive management experience in various sectors of the provincial health care sector. He worked for more than 10 years at Vitalité Health Network, most notably as Chief Operating Officer of Zone 1 and Vice-President of Professional Practice – Research and Academic Affairs, where he was responsible for directing the Extra-Mural Program. He also held the position of Executive Director of the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center.

Fluently bilingual, he holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Université de Moncton.

An active volunteer, Richard has served on various committees, including the Parent School Support Committee at various Dieppe schools and the University Council at Université de Moncton.

A lifelong sports fan, his proudest achievement is the establishment of the first ever all-female hockey team for the Dieppe/Memramcook Minor Hockey Association in 2014-2015. A husband, father and grandfather, he and his wife have lived in Dieppe with their three children for over 20 years.
