FREDERICTON – The New Brunswick Liberal Association (NBLA) announced it will hold another four nominating conventions for the next provincial election on September 24, 2018.  The next set of conventions include the following ridings:

  • Wednesday, June 14 – 6 pm – Miramichi Bay-Neguac

  • Wednesday, June 21 – 5 pm – Saint Croix
  • Wednesday, July 5 – 7 pm – Fredericton West-Hanwell

“Since 2014, we have cut the deficit in half, all the while investing more education, more in health care, and growing the economy year after year,” said Premier Brian Gallant, who is also Leader of the New Brunswick Liberal Party.
Gallant said he is impressed with leadership and strong character exemplified by the list candidates. “I look forward to the chance of working with these extremely capable people to get things done for the province and their respective regions,” said Gallant.

The list of official contestants for nominations will be available on the New Brunswick Liberal Party’s website at nbliberal.ca. Contestants for nominations must submit their nominations forms before the respective deadline of each nomination date. These details, as well as the time and location for each nominating convention, are also available online.

The Liberals have already held nominations for four ridings. The list of nominated candidates can be found on the party’s website.
