LeBlanc has been involved in the municipal political scene in Shediac for the last 10 years, 6 years as mayor and 4 years as a councillor. He was involved in many causes and has worked with numerous organizations such as the South-East Regional Service Commission (SERSC), where he represented the town of Shediac by serving as Vice-Chairman and Chairman from 2013 to 2015. He is also involved in important regional causes such as Relay for Life, the Tree of Hope, the Beauséjour Family Crisis Resource Centre and many other fundraisers held in various regional communities. He currently serves as the policy advocate for Tourisim, Heritage and Culture.
LeBlanc graduated from the Université de Moncton with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He has been working as an accountant for the Villa Providence in Shediac since 1992. His wife, Denise Léger, owns physiotherapy clinics with offices in Shediac and Cap-Pelé; the couple has two children, Stéphane and Annie.
