FREDERICTON – The New Brunswick Liberal Association (NBLA) held a nomination convention Wednesday night for the next provincial election on September 24, 2018. Cindy Miles was nominated as the Liberal candidate for Fredericton West-Hanwell in an uncontested meeting.

Premier Brian Gallant, who is also Leader of the New Brunswick Liberal Party, welcomed Miles to the Liberal team. “Cindy Miles will make a great addition to our team with her background in policy and practical experience in volunteering and working with youth. Her passion reflects our priorities of education and families. Cindy will provide a strong voice for the Fredericton and Hanwell area” said Gallant.

She has lived in the riding of Fredericton West-Hanwell with her family for many years and is looking forward to sharing her community engagement skills with all residents of the community.

Cindy Miles said she was honoured to receive the uncontested endorsement from the Fredericton West-Hanwell liberal association. “It is with great joy that I accept the nomination to become the Liberal candidate in Fredericton West-Hanwell. Our community contributes so much to this great province, and I will work hard to bring your voice to the legislature.”  said Miles.
