All individuals who wish to vote in the Leadership process must complete an ‘Intent to Vote’ form by May 23, 2019. Forms must be received by 4:30 pm at the NBLA Office or by 11:59 pm through the NBLA website. Both new and current members of the provincial Liberal Party must complete a form. Members must also be at least 14 years of age and a resident of New Brunswick by May 23, 2019.

There is no cost to vote for a candidate in the leadership process as voting will be conducted online or by phone.  However, there is a cost to attend the Fundraising Reception and Convention at the Trade and Convention Centre in Saint John.

Why attend the convention? Leadership conventions are a unique opportunity for Liberals from around the province to come together. This will be an exciting opportunity to hear from our provincial caucus, leadership candidates, federal MPs and members to celebrate our past and chart a new course.

While the official itinerary will be released in the near future, members can expect a fun-filled Friday evening fundraising reception with live entertainment and delicious local delicacies;  the opportunity to debate ideas and discuss policies with fellow members; panel discussions, candidate speeches and, of course, the declaration of our next leader!
