Purpose:  To elect an Executive and to adopt the new provincial electoral boundaries of the Miramichi Ridings.

As you may be aware, the electoral boundaries for the next Provincial general election have changed, as they do every 10 years.  In order to remain in compliance with the Electoral Boundaries and Representation Act, the New Brunswick Liberal Association will be working closely with our ridings to organize founding meetings to elect executives and adopt a constitution in each of the “new” ridings prior to the next election.

 

The founding meetings for the ridings of Miramichi Bay-Neguac, Miramichi East, and Miramichi West will be held at Friendly Neighbour Senior Citizens, 27 Sutton Road, Nelson on August 19th  from 1 PM to 3:30 PM.  To verify which riding you now live in, you can check the new maps by clicking here.

These founding meetings are an important step in preparing for the next election and we would appreciate your attendance.
