Voter Registration Opens March 11th, 2022.

 

To vote in the Miramichi Bay-Neguac Nomination, you must register by completing an ‘Intent to Vote’ form before 4:30 pm on March 27th, 2022. Only individuals residing in the riding of Miramichi Bay-Neguac will be eligible to register for the nomination.  Forms can be completed online or by signing a printed form and sending it to the NBLA Office. All ‘Intent to Vote’ forms, regardless of method of submission, must be received by 4:30 pm on Sunday, March 27th , 2022. 

 

 Both new and current members of the provincial Liberal Party must complete an ‘Intent to Vote’ form.  Individuals must also be at least 14 years of age, as well as be a resident of New Brunswick, in order to be a member of the Party.

 

The voting process will be conducted through online and telephone voting. There will be no in-person event for this nomination. The  voting period will begin at 9 am on April 8th, 2022 and end at 2 pm on April 10th, 2022.

Why is this nomination being held differently than in the past?

Online and telephone voting will increase member participation by enabling members to cast their ballot safely and securely from the comfort of their own homes.

 

How will I receive my voting credentials? 
Before the voting period opens, each Registered Voter will receive a unique PIN which will be required to vote.  If a valid email was included with the ‘Intent to Vote’ Form, the PIN will be sent by email. For individuals who do not receive a PIN by email, a copy will be sent through regular postal delivery.
