After studying music at Université de Moncton, Isabelle became quickly known in the entertainment sector as one of the rare woman musical director in Atlantic Canada. She led many projects on the provincial, national and international scene (Éloizes award evening, Gala de la chanson of Caraquet, World Acadian Congresses, Olympic Games of Vancouver, Festival Interceltic of Lorient in Britanny and many Radio-Canada tv shows). Lets not forget her impressive performance first with Les Muses singing quartet and afterword with the musical show Ode à l’Acadie with which she gave more than 1,000 shows. Isabelle has given performances in Canada, the United States, Europe, Africa and Asia. She is a proud Acadian ambassador. She founded and managed the music school Académie Isabelle Thériault which has led many young artists from the Acadian Peninsula to reach excellence. Isabelle is also the co-owner La Brôkerie, a bistro that has already made its name in the New Brunswick tourist industry. In 2016, she accepted the position of executive director of the Festival Acadien of Caraquet and has succeeded, with a new team, to breathe new life to the event. The obvious success of the 2017 edition of the Festival confirmed her talent to lead teams and to obtain results.

Besides numerous recognition awards she has received in the arts sectors (3 Éloizes, 1 ECMA, 1 MNB, 1 JUNO nomination) the one that pleases her most it the Femme entrepreneure de l’année (woman entrepreneur of the year) of the Acadian Peninsula that she won in 2013.

Isabelle Thériault said she was honoured to receive the nomination for Caraquet. “I am a woman from here, a woman from the Acadian Peninsula who strongly believes in the potential of my native region. Today, I feel close to my community, I understand her and I want to work for its flourishment. I’m proud to join the Liberal team and to continue to contribute to the development of the region” said Thériault.
