Candidate for VP Membership – Julian Moulton, Carleton-Victoria


Julian Moulton 


Is a Wolastoqey from the Tobique Maliseet nation located near the community of Perth-Andover. Julian has been involved with politics directly since the age of 16, when he was selected to sit on the Assembly of First Nations National Youth Council as a representative for New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island where he represented youth from his region nationally. At the age of 18, he ran in his first political campaign for band council and was unsuccessful by one vote, however was elected in the 2016 election in his community of Tobique First Nation. Julian is currently serving his second term on council.  While on council Julian has brought back housing to his community which had not built a home in over 16 years.  Prior to 2016, he has worked with his chief and council to bring his community out of 3rd party management debt and into a financially strong community leader with economic development endeavors in the clean energy sector with a new wind farm in Sussex east.


Also the community purchased a saw mill in the community of Perth-Andover which will help build homes and help move his community forward in the right direction towards a clean environment. 


Julian has supported 4 major election campaigns, 2 for Brian Gallant and 2 under the Trudeau Liberals.  He has organized campaign event rallies in Tobique and has helped get MLAs and MPs elected. He is a hard worker and is committed to serving the community and the people who make it home. He is dedicated to reconciliation and to help move the party forward towards the next chapter of provincial politics and with direct indigenous involvement and with your help, he would like to be voted in as the new Vice President for Membership of the provincial Liberal Party of New Brunswick.
