The New Brunswick Liberal Association is delighted to announce the names of the candidates seeking the Liberal nomination for the riding of Restigouche-Chaleur. The NBLA received two candidate packages prior to the deadline of March 3 at 4:30pm, which met all compliance requirements and were subsequently reviewed and approved by the Green Light Committee. The candidates for nomination, in alphabetical order are: Gérald Arseneault and Marco LeBlanc.

 

“We are very excited that Gérald and Marco have put their names forward to seek the nomination in Restigouche-Chaleur. They are both highly qualified, experienced in their respective fields and share a passion for public service” said Liberal Leader Susan Holt. “The Liberal Party is growing, and I’m thrilled to see such great people looking to get involved as we build the team to best serve New Brunswickers.”

 

The nominating convention for Restigouche-Chaleur will be held March 26 at the Salle Multifonctionnelle Denis-Richard in Petit-Rocher. The deadline to register to vote is March 15 at 4:30pm. Members will have the opportunity to vote online from March 23-26, or in person via electronic voting station at the convention on March 26. All members are required to register to vote by March 15 at 4:30pm which can be done online, or by paper form.

 

“There is a lot of excitement about the upcoming by-elections”, said Brian Murphy, President of the New Brunswick Liberal Party. “The Liberal Party is in a strong position, and we look forward to the Premier calling these byelections sooner rather than later. Citizens in these regions deserve to have their voices heard and be represented in the Legislature.”

 

The nominating convention for Restigouche-Chaleur is being held March 26, 2023 and the deadline to register to vote is March 15, 2023 at 4:30pm. Registration can be done online at www.nbliberal.ca or by contacting the NBLA to get a paper form at info@nbliberal.ca or by calling 1-800-442-4902.
