Liberal Leader, Susan Holt, has announced the appointment of Hannah Fulton Johnston as the new Executive Director of the New Brunswick Liberal Association.  “Hannah brings to the table a wealth of experience and knowledge, and we are thrilled that she has accepted the role of Executive Director,” said Holt.

A graduate from St. Thomas University, Hannah Fulton Johnston has worked over the past 20 years in both provincial and federal capacities for two Members of Parliament, two provincial cabinet ministers and in the Premier’s Office, as well as having held several positions within the party organization. She has served as the Village of Minto’s Economic Development Officer, and most recently, she was the Liberal candidate in the by-election for Southwest Miramichi-Bay du Vin.

“I am delighted to be joining the team in this role and am very excited to work with our new Leader, Susan Holt, members of caucus, the party’s executive, regional directors and the riding associations,” said Fulton Johnston.  “I believe that we have a very strong team and look forward to preparing for the 2024 provincial election and ultimately electing a strong and diverse slate of candidates from all corners of the province to form the next government in New Brunswick.”

Party President Brian Murphy, K.C., said “After an open and thorough hiring process, we are all very pleased to welcome Hannah into this leadership role with her years of experience and dedication to the Liberal Party of New Brunswick.  We will work together as a team to ensure we are organized and engaging our volunteers, supporters and those that share our belief of a more open, transparent, and fresh approach across our province in the lead up to 2024”.
