On behalf of the Liberal Party of New Brunswick, I’d like to offer our sincere condolences on the passing of the Lieutenant-Governor of New Brunswick, her Honour, Jocelyne Roy Vienneau after a courageous battle with cancer.

Ms. Roy Vienneau enjoyed a long and distinguished career as a leader in the fields of engineering and education. Through her numerous leadership roles and accomplishments, she will continue to serve as an inspiration for many.
As Lieutenant Governor, Ms. Roy Vienneau was deeply passionate about her province and its people. That passion shone through as she carried out her responsibilities which deservedly earned her the admiration and respect of all New Brunswickers. Her commitment and dedication to our province was unwavering, even in the face of her illness.

We are deeply appreciative for her dedicated service and our thoughts and prayers are with her husband, Ronald, her children Isabelle and Cédric and all her many friends and admirers.
