It is with great sadness that I inform you that Wendell Fulton, a man who made a great contribution to our party and our province, passed away on September 18, at the age of 84.

Born in Lakeville Corner, in Sunbury County, Wendell dedicated many years of his life as Executive Secretary of the New Brunswick Liberal Association and afterward for the Liberal Caucus Office. He had a university degree in History and Law, and a Masters in Political Science.

Through all his life and numerous professional occupations, his passion was in politics and many reached out for his extremely valuable advice.

Following a private burial, a public memorial of his life will be held for friends, family and colleagues at the Crowne Plaza Lord Beaverbrook Hotel in Fredericton this Saturday, September 24, at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

We would like to express our sincerest condolences to his wife, Pamela, and the rest of his family.

Wendell was one of kind and he will not be forgotten. You can read more on the life and contributions of Wendell Fulton here.

Sincerely,

Joel Reed
President
New Brunswick Liberal Association
